CELEBRATE MPN
AWARENESS DAY ON THE SECOND THURSDAY OF EVERY SEPTEMBER

The Fourth Annual MPN Awareness Day is September 8, 2016
The second Thursday of every September has been designated MPN Awareness Day. The theme of the event is to encourage those living with MPNs to use their voice and share their stories. The MPN community comes together by sharing experiences, connecting patients with one another, and highlighting excellence in support for patients and caregivers.

Resources

A variety of information and educational resources are available through members of the MPN community to help raise awareness of MPNs all year long. The resources are provided with the aim to empower patients with MPNs to learn about their disease, become partners in their healthcare decision-making, and gain strength by connecting with others.

Efforts to raise MPN awareness can start locally, right in your own neighborhood, any time of the year. Consider hosting local activities to bring together your community, family, friends, and healthcare providers. These resources are available for you to help promote information about MPNs and connect with others. Suggested activities and sample templates can be found in the Raise Your Voice Toolkit.
