TRACK YOUR APHERESIS PROCEDURES

Record information about each procedure

While not a routine part of ET management, your Healthcare Professional may determine that platelet apheresis – an emergency medical procedure used to temporarily lower platelet counts – may become necessary. This tracking tool allows you to record the date of each apheresis procedure. By keeping track of when each procedure occurred, you can better plan and discuss care management options with your Healthcare Professional. Remember, these procedures are not normally a regular part of managing ET, so be sure to talk with your Healthcare Professional if and when they are repeated.

How to track your apheresis procedures

  1. Use the calendar function to select the date your apheresis procedure was performed.
  2. Click or tap the "SAVE APHERESIS INFORMATION" button when finished.

This tracking tool is intended for use as a resource and diary for patients with essential thrombocythemia. Information provided in this tool, including outputs from its interactive features, should not be considered an alternative to medical or management advice from your Healthcare Professional team.
